Houston Children's Museum

My friend Ashley invited us down to the children's museum before school got out. We had never been before so we were excited to see what they had to offer. Boston loved it and probably could have stayed for hours. We headed outside where they had tons of different things to do with the water. Boston's favorite party was trying to shoot this water in the big bucket up top so when it was full it would dump over.

The boys stayed in this area building FOREVER! They probably could have spent the whole time there had we not convinced them to give someone else a turn. Sorry my pictures are horrible, my phone stinks when taking pictures.

They had a restaurant, a vet center, and grocery store, etc. Boston loved acting like the checker and took his duty very seriously.

We spent most of the afternoon there letting the kids play and play. We decided that since we passed up Sprinkles on our way home, it deserved a definite drop in from us. I found my FAVORITE sprinkles cupcake to date (i think its called like marshmallow surprise?) thanks to Ashley. On a sidenote, did you know that if you follow them on facebook, everyday they have a "word of the day." If you go in and whisper that word to them they give you a free cupcake!

It was a fun day for the boys and Boston zonked on the way home while we sat in stupid Houston traffic FOREVER!!!!! Regardless, our day that had no plans turned into a fun, exciting one. We'll take it.

Okay, I don't know why I am laughing so hard at him being a checker at the grocery store. But your comments about how he took his job VERY seriously was just too funny. And then looking at the picture, you can totally tell that he really was taking it VERY seriously. I love him.
AND i'm SO jealous that you went to Sprinkles!!! You should have sent me one. ;)
