hudson

I finally took Hudson to the doctor for his 3 year check up.  Having morning sickness really has NOT made me want to do any more then I really HAVE to get done.
His THREE year old stats:

Height: 38 in 60%
Weight: 35 lbs 75%

This boy lights up our home.  He keeps me busy but when he says "mom you wan play wif me" its hard to resist without feeling guilty.
Thankfully, he's very independent and that has paid off with this pregnancy.  He's very good about finding ways to entertain himself (which can also mean trouble).
It kills me when I find all his cars lined up (and organized into categories).
He's got quite the imagination and wants everything to get muddy, go over bumpy hills or get parked in the garage.
Like most boys, any chance he gets to go outside, he takes it.  He loves to "ride" his bike and thinks he super big because of it.
Slowly but surely his food options are expounding.  He's been very stubborn about what he eats but little does he know that he gets his stubbornness from ME---I win every time.  He either goes to bed hungry most nights or winds up eating.  I was OVERLY happy one day when I was snacking on some veggies and he climbed up and started eating some too!  I can't say he ate a TON but he tried everything (and spit a few right back out) so progress is progress.
One night while Kent was working late, I was SO sick and he kept getting out of bed.  I was over it and just didn't want to deal with it so I let him be (especially because he was being so quiet).  When Kent got home later that night, I told him to just check upstairs because I was pretty sure Hudson had come out of his room but I hadn't heard much from him.  This is what found all wrapped up INSIDE my maxi dress asleep.
If this boy is tired and missed a nap, he will fall asleep if you give him a little down time.  I love it.
We also had another phase of potty regression when it came to POOP.  Oh it was NOT fun.  It seemed like it lasted an eternity especially because morning sickness and cleaning up poopy underwear DOES NOT MIX.  I'm glad we stuck it out though because now he's a PRO.  Let's pray it stays that way!

Hudson says some funny things sometimes and I need to record them so I can always remember:

Just yesterday while we were in the car he said, "Mom, church is wike jail!"
He always tells me when talking about baby bro, "Mom, baby Grace in your stomach?" Baby Grace is his friend Cooper's little sister---I think he's confused.
When he wants me to hold him, sometimes he will pause and say, "Mom, a baby in your stomach?" to which I reply, "Yes." Then he looks at my belly and says "I okay.  I just hold your hand mom"  Apparently, he's a little nervous about squishing his little brother.

boston

After having a broken collar bone for about 6 weeks, Boston finally got the clear to finish up basketball season.  He was READY to play.
Kent helped coach with our good friend Jason.  We had such a fun little team mixed with some of Boston's football friends and some of his church friends.
We gave him $1.00 for every shot made.  Let's just say this kid did well for himself this basketball season.
At school, it was that time of year for the dang Boosterthon Fun Run.  Last year, Boston was totally pumped about this thing and I knew this year he would be the same way.  He was SO determined to get pledges for his laps because those little Boosterthon promoter people always push and push and PUSH those kids to get pledges.  Usually, we ignore the fundraisers when they come home but with this one....its just easier to say yes (plus it makes Boston happy).  We showed up for his run and he was determined to run more laps then he did last year (48).
This kid is so determined.  It kills me.  I think he ran 52 laps.
We was DEFINITELY proud of himself.  We were proud of him too.
As soon as basketball ended, Boston's first season of t-ball started right up.  He's never cared to play t-ball before but this year he decided to try.
I've got to say, these kids look freaking adorable in their uniforms.  We had an opening day parade and the boys thought they were SO cool getting to ride in the back of the truck and throw candy to everyone.
Between school, sports and his social life, this kid keeps a pretty busy lifestyle.

12 weeks

Here's the 12 week belly shot.
I'm terrible at belly shots and always think I'll get better.  We'll see how this go around turns out.
This belly definitely popped earlier then the other 2 boys.  They say that's what happens the more kids you have.  They also say morning sickness goes away around 12 weeks.....I'm proof with ALL three boys that this is not a fact.  Although I'm not throwing up, I still have to eat CONSTANTLY to keep myself from being so nauseous (and of course with that NOTHING sounds good).  I'm still tired and probably hit the sack by 10 at night which is SO not my style.  I'm already sleeping horribly with hip pains.  These babies kill me I tell you.  The good news is that I'm 3 months down and 6 more to go!
