NEW LOVE
Houston (yes, I blame Houston...so does everyone else who has lived here forever) has made us pretty sick! I don't know WHAT it is but its been aweful lately. Anyway, I discovered these for Boston and they are my FAVORITE product right now:
They seriously have worked wonders with him and I credit these BOOGIE WIPES for getting rid of his previous runny nose!
Just thought I'd share!
**I found them at Target**

I walk into the family room because once again I heard SILENCE.
Saw that Boston had pulled all the books off the book shelf.
Reminded him we DO NOT do that and put him in timeout.
After I went to get him out of timeout, this was our conversation:
ME: "Do you know why you're in timeout?"
BOSTON: "Because I put the books on the floor."
ME: "Yes, we don't pull the books off the shelf."
BOSTON: "But I wanted Jesus picture!"
ME: "Oh...."
WHOOPS! Poor boy, all he wanted was the little picture of Jesus that was stuck in between all the books! How can you be mad about that??? Atleast he learned maybe to ask for momma's help next time (maybe) and then he went and picked up all the books and put them back NOT wanting my help.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
We have now officially celebrated SIX Valentine's Days together married.
7 years ago on Valentine's Day Kent and I had our FIRST kiss and now we get to celebrate together forever and EVER!

Our Valentine's Day was celebrated mainly on Saturday night. We had plans to head to the Melting Pot but when we called for reservations apparently ALL of Houston decided to celebrate on Saturday too. Not only was Melting Pot booked but EVERY OTHER nice restaurant in town was booked (unless we wanted to eat at 10 pm). So we tried out this cute little Italian restaurant close by where we were serenaded with Italian music right at our table. Then we went and saw VALENTINE'S DAY which we both thought was pretty cute. It was a great evening together and I LOVE just being with Kent since we don't have a lot of that time together lately.

This year I thought it'd be a cute idea to give Kent a candy bouquet. I was pleasantly surprised at how much he LOVED it. That boy is a candy/sweets FIEND so this was perfect for him. I also got my 2 dozen roses and a few other surprises Saturday/Sunday that required Kent's thoughtfulness/creativeness/planning ahead, which with being male doesn't always happen, so I was happy about that.

We had a GREAT Valentine's day this year and I look forward to the MANY more to come! Love you babe!

BUSTED
Proof from my post below

I was upstairs this morning trying to take care of some stuff when is heard SILENCE downstairs. I called out to Boston. No response. I ran down to find this:

Boston, standing on the back of the couch with the garage door opener in hand. I guess he thought it was pretty cool to watch our garage door go up and down OVER and OVER (fyi our garage isn't attached to the house & you can see it from this window Boston is looking out of)!

After fixing this situation, I go back upstairs (stupid me) to finish what I was doing only to hear water running a few minutes later. I called out to Boston....no response. Run downstairs to find that he had taken a stool to the counter, climbed on top and was ONCE AGAIN eating the M&M's from the candy bowl.
When I fixed THAT situation, I headed back upstairs (yes, I'm REALLY dumb) to hear silence downstairs about fifteen minutes later. This time I didn't even bother calling for Boston because I knew he was doing something he shouldn't. Ran downstairs and THIS is what I found:

Yes, he was taking each yogurt out of the box and opening all of them up! He thought it was pretty funny and didn't realize why it was such a big deal. Do you like how Stella is in this picture just WAITING for her chance to lick one of those yogurts clean! Good thing I came just in time!
This was ALL in the matter of 45 minutes. I finally decided it was NOT worth me completing any "to-do" tasks I was trying to get done around the house and that it was better to wait until naptime.
What has gotten into my son!???
IT BEGINS

Who knew this sweet OCD face was going to turn into a crazy man!
Lately I'm about ready to pull my hair out with this boy sometimes! He has never been the kind of kid that I had to worry about getting into things he shouldn't. For the most part, I could "trust" him when I wasn't in the same room. Well, not anymore.

Silence now means T.R.O.U.B.L.E.

The last few days this has consisted of:
  • Climbing on the kitchen counter (he has NEVER been a climber by the way. This has apparently surfaced lately as well) turning on the water FULL blast while eating the ENTIRE bowl of M&M's that were sitting nearby.

  • Found his old "timeout stool" and used it to aid in pulling ALL the kleenex out of a fairly NEW tissue box on the back of the toilet, taking ALL the toilet paper on the BRAND NEW roll of toilet paper and thinking it'd be fun to flush IT ALL (yes ALL kleenex+toilet paper) down the toilet. This resulted in a major, MAJOR clogged toilet.

  • He now finds it absolutely HILARIOUS to "make a mess" as he says it of ALL his toys and scatter them EVERYWHERE (in past times he used to be a little OCD about having ALL the toys out at once & had to put them back before getting others out. Yes, I LOVED that stage)

  • If I lay him down early for naptime & he's not FULLY tired yet, that just puts him in DESTRUCTIVE mode in his bedroom. This includes dumping ALL toys out, pulling ALL books off the book shelf, pulling ALL his clothes out of his dresser, and opening his closet and taking ALL the clothes out of the hamper to then only smile and laugh when I walk into the room.

  • I have caught him climbing on the kitchen table for no REAL reason other than to just DO IT.

  • He now feels like it is HIS responsibility to pull ALL the DVD's out and take them out of the cases and take turns putting the DVD's in and out of the DVD player when we're not in the room.

WHO IS THIS CHILD AND WHERE IS HIS MOTHER?!?! Seriously! This has all just started and I'm afraid it may only get worse.....

ONE LOVE
Can you tell what Boston's favorite toy is?

Please don't be fooled by the underwear in this picture. Boston is NOT fully potty trained (60%) & it has been QUITE the rollercoaster but that's a different story for a different day!
