LOOK WHO CAME TO VISIT!!!!!!!
We had our FIRST house guests come this past weekend! Amanda and Tessa came down to hang out with us for a few nights while our husbands were off doing work stuff! I was SOO excited to see them because last time I saw little Tessa she was like a month old and now she's 6 months and getting cuter and cuter! It was a quick trip but we made the most of it and shopped for home decor (Amanda, have you decided on a Christmas wreath YET?!) all weekend at some of the cutest places that I could easily drop TONS of money at (although I DIDN'T). Luckily Amanda brings me to reality and lets me know what a good deal is and isn't. We tried to get some pictures of the kids together but Boston of course wouldn't cooperate for a picture. He was too busy trying to make sure Tessa had her binky. I think he'll make a good big bro someday...well I guess that's when he gets over his jealousy of me holding another child...
Thanks SO much for making the trip and coming to keep me occupied for the weekend! It was a blast, AS ALWAYS! See you Thursday!

H-A-DOUBLE L-O-W-DOUBLE E-N SPELLS HALLOWEEN!
Yes, I know Halloween has come and gone but you gotta cut me some slack because that was the same day we officially moved out of our apartment and we're finally starting to settle in! So here is our Halloween post FINALLY!!!
Unlike all you creative mom's out there, I just bought Boston's costume which is something that will happen EVERY year because the thought of trying to think of a cute idea, sew it (which I can't do anyway), and make it even look ANYTHING close to my supposed creative idea just STRESSES me out and therefore will NEVER happen. Kent has come to terms with this and so have I. So what do you get when you look for a decently priced Halloween costume...A BAT! That's what our little man was this year and I KNOW he liked it 100x's times more than last year! You can't tell TOO much in the pictures but TRUST me the instant we put that costume on, he was lovin it! Also, this year all his friends were born! Last year he was the only little man hangin around...thanks ya'll for having your kids!=)
Since I was in the process of a move, I was SO grateful that Jamie and Kiers put on the cutest little Halloween party! Sorry Iwasn't much help but I'm grateful ya'll pulled through and made the night a fun night to remember. After looking through my camera for Halloween pics, I'm a little disappointed I didn't get more, so check out the album JAMIE put online!
These are the only pictures I got enjoy and HAPPY LATE HALLOWEEN!!! I can't wait until next year!
Boston wasn't too into the candy part of it all, he was more interested in everything else going on around him.
Sid also came out with Leslie and Chris for the festivites! She was Boston's trick-or-treating rockstar!

So I KNOW I talked about visiting the pumpkin patch about a decade ago and no worries, we DID make the traditional trip out there this year, I'm just VERY behind on posting. I'd like to say that it took me forever to edit, which is partially true but the other part is that I flat out haven't had much time. I thought that I better sit down and finish this tonight before we hit Thanksgiving and I realize I STILL haven't posted this!
We made the trip out their on probably one of the BUSIEST Saturdays that pumpkin patch has seen but on the plus side, I must say the weather was FABULOUS! The Nielson's and Randall's came along this year, although I don't know if they enjoyed it as much as I did! Kent didn't give in this year to dropping the $20+ on a pumpkin (last year they DID give us 2 free pumpkins but that didn't seem to encourage Kent this time) and now that I think of it, we didn't even buy a Wal-mart pumpkin!!! How lame are we? I guess this move had us a little too occupied...opps! Anyway, we did get some great shots and I REALLY want to make a special trip down there next year even though we are official Utah residents now. Do you think Kent will go for that?
Last year's pic...
The remake...I think he was finished taking it all in this year and was just enjoying it all!

WE HAVE ARRIVED!

So we have officially made our move to Utah and are getting settled in here. I have been EXTREMELY busy and it's stressing me out that I have SOO much to catch up on! We're just trying to finish unpacking, replacing the furniture we sold before we came and buy all the necessities of living in the mountains with snow constantly on the ground! When I first arrived on Wednesday, it was snowing and I called Kent on my way up to the house and he tells me we're going to have to buy snow tires and a snow blower for the driveway with this crazy weather. My responses were, "GET A SHOVEL!" and "Does this mean I can buy my SUV early?!?!" Well, apparently after hearing from quite a few people the snow gets pretty bad up here and them telling us that a snow blower is a neccesity...it looks like a snow blower will be one of our next purchases...boo! I could spend that money in SOO many other areas especially since I've discovered some GREAT places to shop for decorating a house! As for the SUV...I'm working on that one, but I'm closer today than I was a week ago!!!

More to come soon, I've got unpacking to do before the Boss man wakes up!
