SINGING SENSATION

For some reason everytime Boston picks up a cord, he seems to think it's a microphone and sings "DIEGO GO! DIEGO GO!" over and OVER! Where does he come up with this stuff?

IT'S TETTA!!!!!!!

We were SOOO excited to have Amanda and "Tetta" come visit us this last week! We haven't seen them since March and little Tessa is so HUGE now and pretty much looks like a totally different person! The kids were so funny to watch play together because Boston would copy EVERYTHING she did including repeat all her random jibber jabber! It was also fun as always to chit chat with Amanda for hours on end....somehow we always have SOMETHING to talk about! Our week was filled with fun which included shopping, swimming, bounce houses, the beach, eating out, eating out, and YES eating out!

Yes, the kids climbed this rock wall, I was AMAZED at their strength! Okay, maybe they didn't this time around but they did seem to enjoy the mat!

Look how sweet! This little girl is a CRACK UP! She will do anything you tell her NOT to do and thinks it's ABSOLUTELY hilarious! So, if you want her to do something, tell her NO and she'll do it! Seriously, HIL.AR.I.OUS!

Kent's BIG 28th Birthday was last Friday!! This man is getting older by the day! He's 28 with a head FULL of grey hairs. I bet him that by 32 he'll be fully grey! But regardless, he's a hardworking, fun loving, positive man, husband and father and we LOVE him to death! How did we get so lucky?

His request for cake was German chocolate which of course I had already had plans on making BEFORE he opened his mouth with his request which ruined THAT surprise....oh well. He also got his one present he requested....his external hard drive for the computer (a little lame, I know but I'm married to a simple man who only wants what he NEEDS....what can I say?) but I couldn't just let it slide with just that and added a few more presents in there. I mean REALLY, how exciting is it to open an EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE?

He also got to be sandwiched between this two guys for his birthday! I think he enjoyed that the most! Hopefully overall he had a great day! I always like birthdays to feel different than any other day so I hope that he got that this year! WE LOVE YOU BAZILLIONS BABE!!! You're SIMPLY the BEST!!!!!!

We headed to the beach on Saturday which was SO FUN! The kids LOVED it and could've played ALLLLLLL day! I think Boston will FOR SURE be a beach baby and I LOVE that!

This just CRACKED us up! This is how Mexicans do it at the beach! Instead of beach chairs they bring a rocking bench and metal church type folding chairs. Instead of a beach umbrella they bring their old rain umbrella. Instead of plastic beach shovels they bring their big metal shovels they use on their own yard! Seriously...how funny is that?! I died laughing!

Tessa L.O.V.E.D. Kent! Anytime he came home, she'd be excited to see him and she would just crawl up on his lap and lay there! I know Kent loved every minute of it too! Too cute!

I feel like we did so much more that I don't have pictures of! Oh well! We really did have lots of fun with them and it makes me sad that we live so far away! Thanks for coming and hopefully we'll be seeing y'all sooner than later.......=)

P.S. Tuesday morning when Boston woke up he was calling for Tetta.....I think you better come back!

OH! Lastly, we stumbled across my DREAM house! Who would've thought I would have found it in HOUSTON of all places!! We were in The Woodlands and found this neighborhood that had all different styles of homes INCLUDING THIS BEAUTY! My plantation looking, wrap around porch with big white pillars, french doors instead of windows, gas lanterns....it had it all! I didn't get to see the inside but I'm sure it was perfect as well! There's just something about southern Louisiana homes that I just LOVE and will ALWAYS love! No matter where we end up, that's what I want my home to be!

WHAT MONTH IS IT?!?

I just got an email from PBK saying......

WHAT?!? I swear it's STILL AUGUST! I'm not even THINKING about HALLOWEEN OR FALL! I'm still thinking about the BEACH!!! Why must they try and force us into the next season so quickly?!?

Last week we got back from our fun, busy trip to Utah to meet this little man...

Isn't little Krew baby PRECIOUS?!? I was SOO excited to go out and hold this little man...and when I say little, I mean little!

We had a VERY busy week planned and we were on the go 24/7. Although it was busy, it was a TOTAL blast! I LOVE being with family...ALL of the fam including aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, sisters, brother-in-laws, parents, nieces, and nephews! UNFORTUNATELY Kent didn't get to come with us because of work. I'm telling you HE MISSED OUT!

Boston and I SCORED when we got to stay at Kari's so we were able to be with Krew day IN and day OUT! We LOVED every minute of it!

This is an example of my O.C.D. son.

On Saturday we got to head down to Auntie Aundrea's for my cousin Nick's fiancee's (Lauren) bridal shower! She's from FLINSTONE (yes, it exists), Georgia! She's SUCH a sweet little southern girl and I'm glad that we're getting some more southern blood into the mix!

Sunday we were able to be there when THIS little man was blessed:

KREW BRANDON COMBE (he's SOO sweet) was blessed by his Dad, Brandon, and he did SUCH a great job! It was a beautiful blessing and I wish I could've heard all of it but my little man FLIPPED when he saw Papa walk to the front to help bless Krew therefore we had to make an exit......oh BOSTON!

After all the craziness from the weekend, we headed up to BEAR LAKE to my Grandma's cabin!

One thing I'll give to Utah is their weather! It's warm but in the shade it feels PERFECT! Bear Lake's weather was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. while we were there.

The kids LOVED the beach and probably would've stayed there FOREVER if we had let them!

This little man is a CRACK UP!!!! He is ALL boy! This picture makes him look skinny but when I say this kid is ALL chunk, he is ALL chunk!

This little man was a CHAMP at the beach. He stayed under the beach tent in the shade the WHOLE time and slept!

Kelli played it "safe" on the jet ski and I'm pretty sure I made her a LITTLE nervous when I took charge. Let me just say, I LOVE these things and if it weren't for the rash I got on my inner thighs, I would've rode ALL day!

Even mom rode! When dad took charge though, I don't think she liked it that much!

Boston liked the jet skis even though it looks like he's about to DIE from the life jacket in this picture! He'd put his hands on top of his head when we'd start going fast to keep his head from hitting the handlebars! Poor kid!

Sophie rode and rode and rode some more! She LOVED it and LOVED EVEN MORE to go FAST!!!!

The next day instead of heading back down to the beach, the boys hit up the golf coarse and then we headed to the pool!

We even spotted a moose.

My cousin Misty suggested we rented these bikes and ride around Bear Lake

Sorry for the blurriness, guess we were just kicking trash in the speed department here! HAHA! I tell you what, this was SOO fun! It was HILARIOUS and HARDWORK!!! We had a MINOR crash but everyone enjoyed it (although I wish that I would've had Charlie or Boston's seat).

This was the FUNNIEST thing! Sophie and my dad playing Backyardigans! It was a show to see!

And the week finally came to an end. It was sad to say goodbye to everyone but we were REALLY excited to get back to Kent once again!!! I wish all my family lived closer....
