Day 2: Magic Kingdom

On Wednesday, we started our exciting adventure at the parks.  There is TONS to do so there was NO rest for the weary.  Wednesday morning we woke up, Boston complained his throat was sore and then a few minutes later THREW UP!!!  Yes, not once, not twice but THREE times that morning.  My initial reaction was food poisoning because Kent didn't feel well after he ate the night previous and Boston had no other symptoms.  Kent was planning to stay behind with Boston for a bit but then he was acting okay so we decided it was DO OR DIE at Disney.  Poor kid.  He said he didn't want to miss the characters so to the park we all went.  For a bit he just relaxed in the stroller but perked up as the day went on and was back to himself.  Thankfully.  MAGIC KINGDOM was our first stop.  Thankfully, it wasn't too crowded and we got busy right away!
We hit up this safari cruise first which was corny but fun all at once.

We hit up a few more rides then headed to the beloved Space Mountain with our fast passes.  Sadly Boston was just about a hair UNDER the height limit and at Disney they don't budge AT ALL on that height requirement.  We were bummed at first then glad at the end that he wasn't big enough yet.  I think he would have been a little nervous about it all but maybe he would have surprised us.  We found our FIRST character right after that.  Stich himself.  Boston had never seen the movie but was excited none the less to meet him (AND get his autograph) and thought he was pretty funny.  Hudson loved every minute of it and was all smiles and laughs!
We immediately spotted Chip and Dale and rushed off to them next.
The Buzz Lightyear ride was a BLAST!  Loved it and so did the whole family.  These were our pictures at some point in the ride.  Mom and Brandon are my favorite!
The kids couldn't resist stepping into jail with Zurg.
Can you even tell this sweet boy threw up that morning??  Nope.  Happy and content as can be!
We found Buzz which the boys just LOVED!
Then it was race car time.  This CRACKED me up because Boston was driving and could not steer very well AT ALL and kept running us into that rail that it was running on.  He kept saying "What's so funny mom?  I don't know what's so funny!"  I really hope teaching him to drive for real won't be difficult and I KNOW I'll be scared for my life and NOT laughing.
We had dinner reservations at the Lady and the Tramp restaurant.  My mom gave the boys that movie for Valentines Day so Boston was THRILLED to be at this place.
Kristin's dessert has Lady and the Tramp traced out in chocolate powder.  Her ice cream slide over and messed it up a little before I snapped the picture.  Whoops.
After dinner we went for more rides and got side tracked by the amazing firework show that they put on every night.  I can't believe they do that EVERY night!
Charlie and Boston's reaction the whole time during the show.  Poor sensative ears!
And this is how Hudson was...during fireworks and most of the parade!
We rode a few more rides then went and met Kristin, mom and Kari at the spot they were saving us for the parade.  My mom about got in a battle with some lady who was all upset because we had saved space for our family.  We were there BEFORE her and YES its okay to save spots on the curb lady.  Take your Bronx self back to NYC and quit messin with a lady from the south.  She was just upset that she didn't have the same idea we had.  Get over it.  Everyone was worn out at this point.  I'm pretty sure this parade started at 10 but we all enjoyed it none the less!
I can still hear this music from the parade in my head.
After a day FILLED with go, go, go riding rides, meeting characters, shows, whatever it was, we were exhausted and went straight to our bus to head back to the hotel.  By the time we got the boys tucked in that night it was 11:45!!!  Regardless, the day was fabulous and so magically.  I just love this place.

Disney World Vacation BEGINS

Our Disney World trip FINALLY arrived!  We have been anxiously awaiting this trip for some time!  Honestly, I think I was more excited than Boston (I think I miss it more then him too).  We flew out about two weeks ago for ONE WEEK in the land of magic.  I LOVED every minute of it (okay minus the times my sons were THROWING UP...more on that later).  We got into Orlando around 2:15 with NO STRESS or hassles, why?  Because Disney thinks of EVERYTHING and made it all SO easy to get to our hotel and settled.  We stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort and I must say I was impressed.  We had time to kill for the day while arriving for the rest of the Bluth family to arrive so we headed with Kristin and her family down to the pool (we managed to finagle to get on the same flight in Dallas..so fun right?).  They had this GREAT pirate ship for the kids.  Boston quickly found out that TONS of water gets dumped down onto the ship every few minutes.  It scared him so bad, he tripped and fell HARD on the stairs.  Lots of scrapes and bruises from that one.  Poor guy.  Thankfully, after a little hesitation he went back to play.
Charlie and Boston reunited.  They love each other.
Little Landry got to relax by Kristin and I enjoying the nice weather with OUT getting wet.
Hudson went digging in Aunt Kristin's bag and found this.  He knew right what to do with it.  Guess he's missed it....
Then off to the big pool they all went.  They had two big slides over there and we finally convinced Charlie to go down.  He was a little nervous and said he didn't want to do it again.
Boston on the other hand kept going and going with Rylee and Sophie.
My parents arrived and we all got ready for dinner that evening (learning quickly how grateful we were to have bought the Disney dining plan).  We took it easy this day not really knowing how busy the next week would be.....
