Boston's Favs!
Since I'm on the subject of books, I thought I'd list Boston's two favorite books at the moment:

He LOVES these books and can even quote most of them. Its hilarious because he gets VERY animated as we read. His favorite line from Llama Llama Red Pajama is, "Please stop all this LLAMA DRAMA and be PATIENT for your MAMA!" LOVE when he uses the line during the day when I'm telling him to hang on a second! Hilarious! Anyway, I love these books. They're too cute and hopefully if Boston's lucky, he'll get the third one for his birthday!

FINALLY FINISHED
It has taken me FOREVER to finish this book and not because it wasn't good but because I haven't had time to pick it up! But I FINALLY did and I LOVED it!

If you haven't read it, READ IT! It so makes me miss living in the South. Yes, I live in Texas but Texas isn't really the south....its just Texas. I told Kent that I'd LOVE to live in a place like Savannah, Georgia where its BEAUTIFUL and TRUELY southern but then he says, "I thought you wanna settle down in Dallas?" Which I do but Savannah would be nice too......

SUMMER TIME!!!
Oh how I LOOOOOOVE summer! It seriously makes me SO happy! This year we have this splash pad right by our house to take advantage of ALL summer long. These things are the GREATEST inventions EVER!

On days where we don't make it to the splash pad, that doesn't mean we can't play outside in the water for fun (we are using this method until Boston opens his bday presents in a few weeks...)!

OH SUMMER PLEASE STAY FOREVER!

We tried....
A few weeks ago (ok maybe a month ago) we tried planting some flowers in our front yard to spruce it up a little bit. Kent finally trimmed our over grown bushes & we laid down some new mulch.
And Boston helped plant some flowers...
Well a month later our flowers are DEAD! Maybe its a combination of clay+sand that was beneath our dirt OR maybe we just don't know how to plant.....so much for our cute looking flowerbeds.
