Louisiana: Annual Pudding Painting

WARNING: PICTURE OVERLOAD

Okay, so maybe this isn't our "annual" thing but it WILL be. I've seen a friend do this & decided it would be fun to do with the cousins when we were all together in Louisiana. Needless to say, it was a hit with the kids. Boston and Sophie "helped" me make all the chocolate and vanilla pudding aka lick the spoons clean!

Then we got all the kids dressed in their swimsuits & headed outside to paint with the pudding. At first they stayed pretty clean drawing pictures with all the pudding.

We tried to get Krew to dive in and paint but he didn't want to get messy. He stood on the sidelines and enjoyed the show the kids put on instead.

First it was just the hands

Who doesn't love a little bum crack?

Then they started to paint their legs

And slowly some of their face

Then their arms

And bellies

Krew decided he'd mix the "leftover" pudding in the bowl instead.

Quickly their entire face was covered

Their bodies were covered at this point. They tried to make "pudding" angels but it wasn't too comfy doing that on the concrete.

Last came the hair....

Kari tried to get Krew a little messy with the little amount you can barely see & he wasn't too thrilled about even that AT ALL!

Don't you love it? They were now MONSTERS apparently.

I just love all the fun they had.

When they were finished, Chad sprayed them down and they finished getting the rest off in the pool!

Seriously, so much fun! It will now be an annual tradition!

That was honestly one of the funnest days we had at mom and dad's house. My kids still haven't stopped talking about it. I love all the action and posing shots you got. Especially of them when they are all together. AWWWW, we are DEFINITELY doing this every year!!!

It was interesting to watch them hesitate at first...wondering if we were serious about them getting all dirty! I mean how many times does your mother actually ENCOURAGE you to do that! Yes maybe next year Krew will join in.
